09-05-08 : After being held up since April due to legal issues with the Misfits cover song "London Dungeon" which appears on the B-side, the limited edition "Skeleton Cowboys" 7-inch has finally been cleared for release on Zoviet Records! Limited to a run of only 500 hand-numbered copies, this will no doubt be the most collectible piece of the Ghoultown catalog to date. No official release date has been given by Zoviet yet, but the band expects to see it within the next few months.

09-04-08 : Ghoultown is very excited to be working on a collaboration with ELVIRA -- yes, THE Elvira, Mistress of the Dark -- and director/author Gris Grimly (Cannibal Flesh Riot). The band recorded a new theme/tribute song for the legendary horror hostess, and recently headed for Hollywood where they shot a music video on location at the legendary Magic Castle. Cassandra Peterson (Elvira) stars in the video, along with the six members of Ghoultown and David Backhaus (Stash from from Grimly’s Cannibal Flesh Riot). The music video and three “live” performances will be a part of what completes a “Mistress of the Dark” ultra-single CD/DVD planned for release in early 2009.

08-07-08 : New tour dates have been posted. Ghoultown will be hitting select cities in the southeast and midwest on their upcoming DEAD OUTLAW TOUR 2008 in October.

07-21-08 : Ghoultown took 1st place in the Nomad Recording Showcase in Dallas, Texas this past weekend. Thanks to all the Banditos that came out in support!

03-12-08 : The band recently performed at Texas Frighmare Weekend and appeared at the Zoviet Records' booth at FearFest. Thanks to everyone that dropped by to see us at these events and for rocking with us at the shows. Later this October, the band will appear at both ScreamFest in Orlando and Monstrous Weekend in St. Louis. Check the shows page for dates.
